The team and Blue Star Bazaar has tons of experience and loves to help! There is no commission or sales pressure. Our goal is to help you look your best, feel your best, find the perfect gift and leave the store with a smile on your face.
MISSION
Blue Star Bazaar is a boutique for women, tweens, and kids that offers a finely curated assortment of clothing, accessories and gifts. Owner and creator, Megan Abrahamsen, focuses on finding unique, high quality items that she loves and would want to give to her own friends and family – combining some of your favorite brands while introducing you to many brands you may have yet to discover. The selection of clothing, handbags, jewelry, accessories and gifts for women and welcomes each customer with a smile.
ABOUT OUR OWNER
Megan LaBant Abrahamsen received her undergraduate degree from University of Richmond and MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth. Her professional experience includes 4 years of strategic consulting and 6 years of retail experience including strategy and merchandising roles at the Gap, Coach, and New York & Company. After serving as buyer for a $50 million dollar business within New York & Company, she left the corporate world and the hustle and bustle of Manhattan to welcome her first son to the world in October of 2005. Her second son arrived in September of 2007. She now puts her expertise to use running Blue Star Bazaar in Wilton, CT (the same town in which she grew up). The things at Blue Star Bazaar are the things that will make people say "Wow, where did you get that?" Enjoy shopping!
FAVORITE BRANDS
Brands are constantly changing and being updated but some favorites are Liverpool (for both women and men), Kut from the Kloth for women, Katie J NYC for tween girls, and Flag & Anthem for men. Most items in the store are under $150.
